Here we answer some of the most frequently asked questions we receive and provide some helpful information at the same time. If you have a question that we haven’t answered here we would love to hear from you!
How long after the wedding does it take to receive our wedding images?
After your wedding day we know that you and your family are very excited to see your photos and its very tempting to inquire about their status. It typically takes us about 6 – 8 weeks to have your wedding photos completed. While you wait, please know that we are doing everything we can to get your photos to you in a timely manner while still giving them all the love and attention that they deserve.
Do I get the “rights” to all the images?
The short answer is, yes! You are given a “license” to print your images, make copies, share them on Facebook, etc. While we retain the “copyright” to the images, your “license” allows you the freedom to fully enjoy your photos.
How many images do you take at a wedding? And do I get all the images that you take?
At an average 8 hour wedding with two photographers we can take several thousand images (usually somewhere between 3,000 and 5,000). While that sounds like a lot, we will edit them down to give you only the very best (no mishaps, eye blinks, or awkward faces!)
Will YOU be shooting my wedding?
Yes! As part of our signature coverage, both of us (Amanda and Ragi) will be photographing your wedding. There may be a very rare exception where this is not the case, but you will always have two photographers, one of us and a highly skilled second photographer.
How far in advance are you booked?
Our calendar starts filling up anywhere from six months to a year in advance.
How do I reserve my wedding date?
Your date is reserved as soon as we receive your signed contract and a deposit of 50% of the total cost of your wedding coverage/collection. Dates are reserved on a first come first serve basis and we cannot hold a date without a deposit and signed contract.
Do you touch up the photos?
All of the photos you receive will be adjusted to the proper color temperature and exposure and any large blemishes will be removed to ensure your photos look beautiful.
